Nimbl Reveals the Future of Manuals and Safety Management

Nimbl Reveals the Future of Manuals and Safety Management

In today’s fast paced world, productivity-focused, user-friendly services are essential for operators. Nimbl’s latest updates have revealed the future of manuals and safety management with new tools to track manual status and one touch easy safety management features.

Operations manuals, regulatory compliance, procedural updates, and safety management should be easy and fit into an operator’s existing workflow. With the introduction of the Project Tracker the platform has made manual development and management easier than ever. The tool allows operators to easily track priorities and stay on top of their workload. As a result, Nimbl helps operators with over 5,000 manuals and LOA applications each year.

In addition, with streamlined safety management tools like Quick FRAT Nimbl has seen a 38% increase in the number of flight risk assessments submitted to its platform in the past year.

Nimbl clients can avoid having to monitor for updates as they are automatically kept up to date through the Sky Brief notification system on important changes such as:

  • Clarifications from NAVCANADA on Oceanic Clearance Removal (OCR) procedures in Gander OCA.
The increased workload has impacted safety and situational awareness at Gander, prompting the implementation of eastbound traffic regulations. To address these challenges, operators are urged to ensure their crews are well-trained and confident with OCR procedures.
  • EASA Recommendations for Addition of On-Scene Accident Responsibilities
EASA recommends ensuring operator procedures include sufficient detail describing a crew’s responsibilities (under ICAO rules) if they are witness to an accident, particularly if they are the only other crew / aircraft nearby at the time.
  • GPS Spoofing and Jamming Recommendations.
Operators continue to see GNSS interference/jamming attacks in the North Atlantic, Regions of Europe, the North Pacific, and other regions. There is additional guidance available through Nimbl checklists, FAA resources, and ICAO docs.

Most importantly, as Nimbl builds an easier to implement future for manuals and safety management, they have not forgotten that it’s also about people. The 40% increase in active users is in part due to platform advances, but also largely due to the hands-on dedication of their team of experts. With a team of experts conducting over 400 consultations per month Nimbl is able to help operators with everything from LOA applications to SMS implementation and analysis.
